After the cancellation of the TEKKEN WORLD TOUR 2020 and careful consideration of care and caution for the health and safety of the tournament participants and staff, the BTC TEAM has made the difficult decision that BERLIN TEKKEN CLASH will not take place this year. Thank you for understanding in this matter.

We look forward to bringing back BTC when conditions permit us to do so.

Due to the high number of registrations we have to change the venue to larger premises. Change of venue is mandatory to ensure a safe and comfortable tournament. The new location will affect the quality of the tournament in a positve way.

Where will the tournament take place?

The tournament takes place in Berlin/Germany.

Do I have to qualify for the tournament?

You don’t have to qualify for our tournament. Everyone who buys a ticket can participate.

How much does it cost to participate?

It depends on when you buy the ticket. The later the more expensive. The cheapest ticket starts at 35 € (EARLY BIRD). 

How can i participate and where can i buy ticket?

The registration and ticket sale is running via start.gg

Can i pay with credit card at the venue?

Currently not possible. Being planned.

Can i buy the Spectator Pass at the venue?

No. The Spectator Pass must be purchased before the tournament via start.gg

Can I play casual matches with the Spectator Pass?

Tournament and competitors always have priority. You can play casual matches only at marked stations. Casual matches at the tournament group stations are not allowed.

How do you arrange the pools?

Please keep in mind: We can't take everything into account. We always consider the region of players and the relationship to each other and try to have a balanced mix of players and that players who are from the same region/clan are not in the same pool.

how does the check-in work?

The CHECK-IN is opening at 10 am. Just say your Player Name and show us the email confirmation from start.gg on your phone. That's it.

Is there an age requirement for BTC?
Yes, you need to be 12 years or older to enter the venue.
Do you offer food and drinks?

Snacks & Drinks will be available at the venue, served by the best catering crew in Berlin. There is also a supermarket (closed on sundays) nearby as well as various fast-food takeaways.

Is the venue open 24/7?
No.
When will the brackets be published?
A few days after the registration deadline.
When will the tournament end on Sunday?
This is difficult to predict. The schedule can be delayed. We do our best to be on schedule but we cannot offer any guarantee for the planned timetable.
How many players will be in this tournament?
Well, that’s hard to tell. No tournament organiser can precisely predict how many players will participate. It varies every year. This year we expect up to 300 players.
how many pool matches will be streamed?
A few but it is impossible to predict. We will stream the whole day (till we reach top 16 )but we do not know, when, which pools and how many matches.

Code of conduct

All attendees at our tournament are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Each attendee and visitor accepts without exception that pictures and/or video- and audio recordings may be made during the event. Organisers will enforce this code throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.

Be Respectful

Participants may not offend the dignity or integrity of a country, private person or group of people through contemptuous or discriminatory words or actions on account of race, skin color, ethnic, national or social origin, gender, language, religion, political opinion or any other opinion, financial status, birth or any other status, sexual orientation or any other reason.

Drugs
It is not allowed to own and use any illegal substance, including narcotics, marijuana, or other illegal drugs. BTC does not tolerate the use or abuse of illegal substances anywhere in the Venue. Smoking is prohibited – other than in designated areas.
SCOPE
We expect all participants to follow the Code of Conduct during the event. This includes related online communities and social media. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Participants violating this Code of Conduct may be expelled from the event without a refund, and/or banned from future BTC-Tournaments.
Staff

Event Staff will be available to help participants to feel safe for the duration of the tournament. You can report unacceptable behavior to any member of staff who will be clearly visible, wearing our “CREW” Badges.
